This week I teamed up with Atlanta based 1^ST Choice Credit Union o raffle off a pair Falcons tickets for their members.

Darrin Walls Signs Nike Endorsement

Former NCAA stand out cornerback Darrin Walls, now turned NFL professional with the Atlanta Falcons, has signed on with NIKE.

Legendary apparel maker Nike is known for taking chances but this isn’t just any chance…this is Darrin Walls. The partnership couldn’t have been a better match for both NIKE and Walls. They are respectfully known in their areas of craft and applying one with the other only means problems for their competitors. When asking Mr. Walls about the deal he replied “I’m honored to have Nike as my sponsor. They are the best brand of sporting goods out today. I hope this endorsement deal bring other opportunities for Nike and myself.” Now Darrin hasn’t inked his own line of shoes yet but on game day you can see him in his sponsored Nike Vapor’s.

My Day At South Forsyth High School

Today some teammates and I went out to Forsyth H.S. in Cummings, GA. and we had a blast!

“Having a cousin with down syndrome made the visit a little more special”. Seeing special needs kids smiling, having fun and being active on the football field made my day. It brought joy to me knowing that I’m the reason these kids are smiling today. Not only do we change their life, but they change ours as well.”

Darrin Walls Donates NFL Pink To Heels 2 Heal Annual Gala

This year Atlanta Falcon Darrin Walls teamed up with Sattiewhite Training Productions and BrandMarkPR, LLC to create his NFL memorabilia set to this years Heels 2 Heal Gala. Items donated come from the Oct 9, 2011 season game against the Packers. Items donated included a signed pair of gloves, a pair of wristbands and a (2) Pink Towels set.

October is just not Breast Cancer Awareness its also National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. And with the continuing recession creates extra hardships for victims who may not have the resources to leave their abuser and for advocates who are trying to meet the growing demand for safe refuge and other domestic violence services with dwindling funding. Women Called Moses (WCM) hopes to utilize National Domestic Violence Awareness Month to tell some of these stories and to promote greater public awareness and education about the impact of domestic violence on our families and communities.
